Meet our new Brand Ambassador

Meet Steve Tilbrook, North Adelaide Village’s newest Brand Ambassador.

Q: What inspired you to make an Instagram?

Men’s fashion has always been an interest of mine. My grandfather always dressed well and this inspired me to dress well too because I saw how much respect from others he received by dressing well. Fast forward to my working career in an office I took the same approach and it has only created opportunities for me.

Initially, I was never a fan of social media but I eventually saw it as an opportunity to see what others are doing in the men’s fashion space. So five years ago I started an Instagram page and posted my office looks and tagged brands and pages with large followings. This created some exposure for me which lead to an increase in followers and brands wanting to work with me to show off their garments and accessories.

Q: What are you most looking forward to when working with us?

The opportunity to show off all the great things North Adelaide Village has to offer to people in Adelaide. The food options are fantastic and I can’t wait to get back there shortly for a lemon bubble tea at Chatime and incredible food at PIPPO.

Q: What’s your most favourite thing about being a Dad?

The best thing about being a dad for me is seeing both my kids happy when they play and are smiling and laughing that’s the greatest part of it for me. I also love to teach them new bits of knowledge and life skills. I love playing sport with them and giving them pointers about how to improve.

Q: What’s the favourite thing to do with your kids on the weekend?

At the moment it’s playing basketball with them and showing them how to play the game. We also love to watch movies together, I’ve just completed the Marvel series with my eldest and now going through Star Wars.

Q: What did the kids enjoy most about the North Adelaide Village photoshoot?

They loved Chatime bubble tea the most closely followed by PIPPO. They had never had bubble tea before, either had I for that matter, and they absolutely loved It, as did I. They loved being spoilt rotten at PIPPO and loved the food their so much.

Q: Where do you see yourself in 5 years?

Great question. I hope to be still running my men’s fashion page and working with great local businesses like North Adelaide Village. In terms of my working career, I hope to progress this in a different direction by this time.
